Hilo
District 2 Holds Vigil July 3rd Through
July
6th
Representative
George Pua and Noble Doug Awai hosted an informational vigil for
truth and justice during the 4th of July weekend at Waiola State
Park. In spite of Mayor Kims declaration there
would be no camping nor parking in the area, The Lawful Government, The
Kingdom
of Hawaii successfully negotiated with the State of Hawaii DLNR
to ensure that no adversarial confrontation would take place when citizens
of Hilo District 2, Puna District 1 and South Kohala District 5 arrived
to exercise their rights to occupy their lands. As is usual, Kingdom
citizens who attended enjoyed great food provided by the Hilo District,
comfortable tables and chairs, video presentations, and a Moku Meeting
attended by our Prime Minister Mr. Henry Noa.

A number of
individuals stopped in for educations and we signed up a new citizen applicant.
Mayor Harry Kim came by to introduce his wife. Glen Taguchi, head of DLNR Park
Permits visited and brought us a copy of a permit they had prepared for us. Representatitives
of the Kingdom Government made him aware that the Kingdom's notification to the
de facto Government was not a request for permit but a government to government
courtesy. Our right to occupy our lands is not his to approve of deny.
Representatives
from the County Civil Defense and Police Department came by to introduce
themselves to Nobles and Representatives so they might be contacted should
any difficulties arise from any misunderstandings between Kingdom of Hawai'i
Citizens and de facto government officers.
